Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Darjeeling

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to Darjeeling. After check-in, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Early morning, begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to Tiger Hill for a mesmerizing sunrise. Continue to Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tea Gardens (outer view), Peace Pagoda, Japanese Temple, and Ropeway (tickets at your own cost). Later, return to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a walk and shopping at the famous Mall Road. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

After breakfast, drive to Kalimpong. On arrival, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour covering Mangal Dham, Delo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, and Flower Nurseries. Check in to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.

After breakfast, travel to Gangtok and check in to your hotel. Later, enjoy a half-day city tour visiting Banjhakri Waterfalls, Flower Exhibition Centre, Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), and Do-Drul Chorten. The evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

In the morning, proceed for a half-day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft), located about 32 km from Gangtok. The lake is nearly 1 km long and holds religious importance. Continue further to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (New), around 12 km ahead. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport for your onward journey.
