Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Darjeeling

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, you will be warmly received by our representative and transferred to Darjeeling. After reaching, check in to your hotel and relax. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Early in the morning, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling. Visit Tiger Hill to witness a breathtaking sunrise, followed by Ghoom Monastery. Continue to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tea Gardens (outer view), Peace Pagoda, Japanese Temple, and enjoy a Ropeway ride (tickets at your own expense). Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Later, explore the famous Mall Road on foot for shopping and leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

After breakfast, drive to Gangtok and check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit popular attractions including Banjhakri Waterfalls, Flower Exhibition Centre, Handicraft Centre, Do-Drul Chorten, and the Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays). Return to the hotel in the evening and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

In the morning, head out for a half-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 ft and around 32 km from Gangtok. The lake is nearly 1 km long and holds religious importance among locals. Continue further to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (New), situated about 12 km ahead. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport for your onward journey.
