Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Kalimpong. After reaching, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and explore Kalimpong’s popular attractions including Mangal Dham, Delo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Durpin Dara Hills, and the beautiful Flower Nurseries. Later, proceed towards Gangtok. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

In the morning, head out for a half-day trip to Tsomgo Lake, situated at an altitude of 12,400 ft and around 32 km from Gangtok. The lake stretches nearly 1 km and is considered sacred by locals. Continue further to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (New), located about 12 km ahead. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

After breakfast, depart from Gangtok and drive to Lachung (8,610 ft / 117 km). En route, enjoy scenic stops at Singhik View Point (weather permitting), Naga Waterfalls, Bheema Falls, and Twin Falls. On arrival, check in and relax. Overnight stay in Lachung.

Early morning, drive to Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers. On your way back, visit the Sulphur Hot Springs. Return to the resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Lachung.

After breakfast, drive back to Gangtok. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. You can also explore local markets for shopping at your own expense. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

After breakfast, check out and proceed for Gangtok sightseeing, covering Banjhakri Waterfalls, Flower Show, Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), and Do-Drul Chorten. Later in the afternoon, drive to Darjeeling (7,100 ft / approx. 120 km). On arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Early morning, begin your Darjeeling city tour. Visit Tiger Hill for a mesmerizing sunrise view, followed by Ghoom Monastery. Continue to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tea Gardens (outer view), Peace Pagoda, Japanese Temple, and enjoy a Ropeway ride (tickets at your own cost). Later, return to the hotel and enjoy an evening walk at Mall Road for shopping and leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport for your onward journey.
