Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Kalimpong

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Kalimpong. Check in to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.

After breakfast, check out and explore Kalimpong’s attractions including Mangal Dham, Delo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Durpin Dara Hills, and Flower Nurseries. Later, drive to Gangtok. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

In the morning, proceed for a half-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft), located about 32 km from Gangtok. The lake is nearly 1 km long and holds religious significance. Continue to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (New), around 12 km further. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

After breakfast, drive to Lachen (117 km). En route, visit Singhik View Point (subject to weather conditions) and Naga Waterfalls. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Lachen.

Early morning (around 4 AM), visit Gurudongmar Lake (subject to permit and weather conditions). En route, explore Thangu and Chopta Valley. After lunch, drive to Lachung and check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Lachung.

Early morning, drive to Yumthang Valley, famously known as the Valley of Flowers. On the return journey, visit the Sulphur Hot Springs. Return to the resort for lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Lachung.

After breakfast, drive back to Gangtok. En route, visit Bheema Falls and Twin Falls. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. You can also explore local markets for shopping at your own expense. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

After breakfast, check out and proceed for a half-day Gangtok sightseeing tour covering Banjhakri Waterfalls, Flower Show, Handicraft Centre, Do-Drul Chorten, and the Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays). Later, drive to Pelling (6,800 ft). On arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Pelling.

After breakfast, explore Pelling’s attractions including Rimbi Falls, Rock Garden, Khangchendzonga Waterfalls, and Khecheopalri Wish Lake. Later, visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, Rabdantse View Point, and the Helipad Ground. Overnight stay in Pelling.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Darjeeling (7,100 ft). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Early morning, visit Tiger Hill for a spectacular sunrise, followed by Ghoom Monastery. Continue to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tea Gardens (outer view), Peace Pagoda, Japanese Temple, and Ropeway (tickets at your own cost). Later, return to the hotel and enjoy an evening walk at Mall Road. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

After breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Mirik, a scenic hill destination at 5,800 ft. Visit the beautiful Sumendu Lake (Mirik Lake) and enjoy boating at your own expense. On the way back, stop at Pasupati Market near the Nepal border for shopping (vehicle access up to the Indian side). Return to Darjeeling. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport for your onward journey.
